I did a presentation for my graduation from Microsystems Academy.

I chose wireless MEMS because I was interested in how the systems were powered. When I did my research I discoved that MEMS are being powered in every way imaginable from solar to nuclear.

Smart dust systems are made with redundant motes so that if one breaks down the other motes in the system can keep functioning without it.

The most familiar item in which you will find wireless MEMS is the cell phone but they are being developed in a wide variety of areas. Smart dust systems can be used by firefighters to find the safest route of a building. They can be implanted in heart patients to monitor the pressure in the arteries. A lot of research is currently being done to make MEMS devices to help the handicapped.

Wireless MEMS have many cost and performance advantages over more traditional technologies.

After graduation I startted my internship working with Finite Element Analysis software. I am also learning Coventor and AutoCAD.
